We have come to the last day of our trip and I have to say it has given us the recharge that we needed. We got time with our friends that we haven’t seen in almost 3 years and we got some much needed alone time. Relationships become just a daily grind sometimes and we forget to take the time to put some TLC into keeping the love alive. This trip reminded us that we need to take the time and continue to fall more in love.
Did you know that the flat baskets that are used most often these days for basket walls were once used to hold paper plates because they were so flimsy. I had totally forgotten about it until a friend reminded me. Once a plate holder now my wall decor.
No one ever said that motherhood was easy, and trust me there are days that are more difficult then others but this little guy right here makes being a mother the best job I have ever had.
I try to slow down and enjoy the small things in life but it hasn’t been easy, especially when going back to work after the second lockdown. I have been crazy busy at work which means long days and not seeing my baby before he goes to bed. So Hubby and I have been taking advantage of our alone time together as much as possible. Who else is feeling the craziness after getting back to work?
I get excited about summer for a million different reasons and one of the top reasons.....cute dresses.
Table for two? Since being in the depths of the second lockdown of this pandemic I have been redecorating and doing a lot of DIY’s. I’m not working at the moment due to shut downs so I don’t have the extra money to go out and buy new stuff. So I find stuff that I have around the house that has been out of sight, revamping it and putting it front and Center. I find this little seating area makes me feel like I’m at a cafe in Paris....oh la la .
